To celebrate its 15th Anniversary, Amish Originals Furniture Co., in Westerville, decided to create a permission-based e-Newsletter for customers.

Both useful and beautiful, from urban loft to traditional, each piece of Amish Originals furniture is a work of care, grace, and art -- beautiful custom furniture, hand-crafted by Amish carpenters, made to order.

Amish Originals presents a unique and personal product -- customers participate in the creation of their furniture. And, the customer experience is enhanced by outstanding customer attention and service from the owners to the sales floor staff to delivery staff.

As a client, the engaged and interested Amish Originals owners and staff were a dream to work with. In the early stages of discussion, there were 3 goals: first, WOW-factor; second, a newsletter that is appreciative, visual, informative, unique, reflective, entertaining, and interesting; something value-added for customers, and finally, something customers could participate in and enjoy.

Amish Originals is Furniture for Life. The newsletter needed to express that important sentiment. Step one, was a casual e-mail -- outreach to customers to let them know a newsletter was on the way, asking for customer feedback and input. Step two, was to thank customers for responding. Every customer providing Amish Originals with feedback received a special reward. Step three, was the inaugural edition of the Amish Originals Furniture Co. eNewsletter. Step four, was to monitor and understand customer response and feedback.

From the get-to, opens and click-throughs are way above average.
